روایت ہے حضرت عبد الله ابن عمرو رضی اللی تعالیٰ عنہ سے فرماتے ہیں کہ فرمایا نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے کہ مسلمان وہ ہےجس کی زبان و ہاتھ سےمسلمان محفوظ رہیں اورمہاجر وہ جوممنوع چیزوں کوچھوڑ دے یہ بخاری کے الفاظ ہیں اورمسلم میں ہے فرماتے ہیں کہ کسی شخص نے نبی صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا کہ کون مسلمان بہترہےفرمایاجس کی زبان وہاتھ سےمسلمان محفوظ رہیں۔

There is a hadith on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, who says that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hands Muslims are safe, and a Muhajir is one who avoids prohibited things. These are the words of Bukhari and in Muslim, he says: Someone asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) who is the best Muslim.
