حضرت عبد اللّٰہ بن عمرو رضی اللّٰہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ بے شک نبی کریم صَلَّی اللّٰہ تَعَالٰی عَلَیْہِ وَاٰلِہٖ وَسَلَّم نے فرمایا:جس شخص میں یہ چار باتیں ہوں گی وہ خالص مُنافِق ہے اور جس شخص میں ان چار باتوں میں سے کوئی ایک بات ہوگی اس میں نِفاق کی ایک خصلت ہوگی یہاں تک کہ وہ اس کو چھوڑدے۔ { ۱ } جب امین بنایا جائے تو خیانت کرے { ۲ } جب بات کرے تو جھوٹ بولے { ۳ } اور جب کسی سے کوئی عہد کرے تو عہدشِکْنی کرے { ۴ } اور جب جھگڑا کرے تو بدزبانی کرے

It was narrated on the authority of Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: A person who has these four things is a pure hypocrite, and a person who has any one of these four things is a pure hypocrite. There will be a quality of hypocrisy in it until he leaves it. { 1 } When he is made trustworthy, he should betray { 2 } When he talks, he should lie { 3 } And when he makes a promise to someone, he should break his promise { 4 } And when he quarrels, he will use bad language.
